It's been a while since we have heard rumours about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt dating each other.

Ranbir and Alia, who are working on Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra have been repeatedly quizzed by the media, but the stars neither confirmed or denied it.

But now, it is out from Ranbir's mouth, no less!

In an exclusive interview to GQ India, Ranbir had a straightforward answer to the question on dating Alia.

'It's really new right now, and I don't want to overspeak. It needs time to breathe and it needs space.'

'As an actor, as a person, Alia is -- what's the right word? -- flowing right now. When I see her work, when I see her act, even in life, what she gives is something that I'm aspiring to for myself.'

When Alia appeared on Rajat Sharma's Aap ki Adalat programme, she was asked about her relationships being constantly spoken about.

'I am like an open book,' she said, 'But I doesn't like to talk about my personal life.'

'If I am dating, I will not say it because I don't want to accept it'.

'I believe that if the news isn't true, it shouldn't affect me. And if it is true, obviously it shouldn't affect me because it is true. What will I say?' she asks.

Asked about dating Ranbir, she said, 'I don't want to accept it or deny it.'

Alia was evidently embarrassed. She hid her face with her hands and said, 'My face has become red. I am first trying to control that.'

Shrenu Parikh shares her #Metoo story on Instagram

Many Bollywood and Television celebrities are sharing their #Metoo stories on social media where they open up about a past sexual assault or harassment faced by them. Shrenu Parikh is the latest one to join the list. 


The Ishqbaaz actress took to social media to talk about a disgusting act she was victim to as a 6-year-old. Shrenu was molested in a local bus by a man who made her sit on his lap and touched her inappropriately.
Shrenu writes, “As a kid I used to spend my vacations at my grandparents’ town! Those days we travelled in a local bus! And when the seats used to be occupied my grandfather used to request someone to share the seat for me! Similarly one uncle offered to nanu that 'il make her sit on my lap'. He willingly agreed thought at least I won’t get tired, he made me sit on his lap! Me as a child couldn’t know what’s gonna happen to me I dozed off, only woke up to the feeling of being inappropriately being touched by that uncle! 

I could sense something’s wrong but I went all numb and thought its ok for him to hold me like that! I could see my naanu standing a little away from me but couldn’t tell him anything not then not later! I wish I would have spoken about it, I wish that man would’ve gotten his share of punishment for molesting a 6-year-old! 

Not once but so many such incidents have happened, I’ve known from my friends but we never talk about it! Never raise our voices coz we r scared of how the society will eventually not believe us and we don’t stand for ourselves! What’s happening with Gauri is something I’m sure we all have faced on some or the other level in our lives!

Baba Ramdev launches Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards

After becoming India's most trusted Fast Moving Consumer Goods brand, Yoga guru Baba Ramdev's Patanjali on Sunday entered the telecom sector.


At an event, Baba Ramdev launched Swadeshi Samriddhi SIM cards, in alliance with Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited(BSNL).

Initially, only the employees and office bearers of Patanjali will be able to avail the benefits of the SIM card.



After its full-fledged launch, people will get discount of 10 per cent on Patanjaliproducts with this card.

Just with the recharge of Rs 144, one would be able to make unlimited calls across the country, get 2 GB data pack and send 100 SMSs.

Speaking on the occasion, Ramdev said government-owned BSNL is a 'Swadeshi network' and the motive of both Patanjali and BSNL is the welfare of the country.

"There are five lakh counters of BSNL and from there people can soon get Patanjaliswadeshi-samradhi card," Ramdev said.



Talking about the company's motive "prosperity for charity", he further said that in addition to attractive data and call package, the card also comes with the medical and life insurance covers of Rs 2.5 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively.

Sunil Garg, BSNL Chief General Manager, who was also present here also praised the tie-up of Patanjali and BSNL.

" Patanjali's plan is BSNL's best plan. 

In Rs 144, one can make unlimited calls from any part of the country. We are giving 2 GB data pack, 100 SMSs. The members of the Patanjali has to just show their identity and there SIM will be activated soon after some paper work," he said.

Sunidhi says she will balance her personal and professional life after baby’s arrival

When Sunidhi was asked about her comeback into professional singing, she said to IANS,

"Every girl in the world goes through this and I am one of them. I have to balance both. I do know that my first and last love is my singing, the gift God gave to me. So, I will take care of both and just make sure I am at peace with myself."

Akshay Kumar‘s Rowdy Rathore opened up a new market for him altogether and even his detractors would agree to this. Now, there is a talk of a sequel coming up soon and the makers have already made some progress with it. Producer Shabina Khan revealed that the final script of Rowdy Rathore 2 is ready and she is ready to pitch it to Sanjay Leela Bhansali who co-produced the first part with her. She awaits an okay post which they will be ready to move on to the next step.

She said that the writing took a little more time than expected by Vijendra Prasad but now they are totally ready with the project. Anil Kapoor said the media will be informed about everything “very soon”

Anil Kapoor, while avoiding to confirm or deny the reports suggesting his star daughter Sonam Kapoor’s wedding is next month, today said the media will be informed about everything “very soon.”

Anil’s comments came days after Sonam reacted to the marriage rumours, saying that she would talk about her wedding “all in good time.”

There have been reports since March that Sonam is set to tie the knot with beau Anand Ahuja in the first week of May.

Also, Anil’s house was decorated recently, fuelling the rumours. When asked about it, the actor, who attended the 19th International Indian Film Academy Awards (IIFA) voting weekend today, said, “Media has always been with me and my family when we began our careers. We will share everything at the right time.”

“Very soon you all will know. We won’t hide these details. You will know why there is lighting outside the house,” he said.

At the event, Anil also spoke about his upcoming professional commitment, the Salman Khan-starrer Race 3.

“Salman is producing Race 3 with Ramesh Taurani. So, both are experienced producers. Salman has done things whole-heartedly. When you will watch, you will realise it. We have made a very entertaining film.”

On reuniting with Salman after 13 years (they last worked together in Anees Baazmee’s No Entry), Anil said being on set with the Tiger Zinda Hai star never feels work because he is so much fun.

“I have done many films with Salman saab. And people like those films. When I am working with Salman saab, it doesn’t feel like I am working. He works as well as has fun. So, it’s very entertaining working with him.”

The iconic on-screen jodi of Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit is all set to make a comeback with a comedy-drama, Total Dhamaal. While their fans have been waiting to know when the film would go on floors, Anil Kapoor announced on Instagram that the shoot of the film starts today. With a picture, he wrote that even though the two actors (Madhuri and Anil) have not shared screen space in more than two decades, the equation has not changed at all.

“How I love the first day of shoot! #TotalDhamaal begins today! @madhuridixitnene #IndraKumar & I are working together after 26 years but the energy and vibe is the same as it was during #Beta! It’s going to be an epic ride! ‬Let’s get the camera rolling! ‪#ADFflims @foxstarhindi,” Anil wrote.

On Twitter, filmmaker Indra Kumar also expressed his joy of working with the two stellar performers once again. For those uninitiated, Indra Kumar had also directed Beta.

“Two of my favourites! Absolutely love them on the screen & have the privilege of working with them again for #TotalDhamaal. All set for some super fun & some awesome work! Welcome to the squad @AnilKapoor & @MadhuriDixit. @foxstarhindi,” wrote the filmmaker.

Madhuri in response to Indra Kumar wrote, “Can’t stop laughing while working with these 2 crazies even after so many years… it’s #TotalDhamaal 😜”

Sharing his excitement about the project, Indra Kumar had earlier told indianexpress.com, “They both loved the script. I am extremely excited about shooting with Anil, Madhuri and Ajay. I also have my favourite Riteish (Deshmukh), Arshad Warsi, Jaaved Jaffery. It is a dream cast. I am grateful to all the actors for being a part of the film.”

While Anil and Madhuri are the new addition to the Dhamaal family, Sanjay Dutt, who has been a part of the first two installments of Dhamaal series, will not be part of the third film.

Total Dhamaal will hit the theaters on December 7, 2018.

After months of speculations about the wedding of Sonam Kapoor with long time boyfriend Anand Ahuja, here comes the big news and the official announcement of the same from the family. Sonam will get married to her Delhi-based businessman boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8, 2018. Both the Kapoor and the Ahuja families have just shared a joint statement, confirming the speculations and requesting everyone to respect the family's privacy.

Speculations about Sonam's wedding with Anand Ahuja began doing the rounds soon after Anushka Sharma tied the knot with Virat Kohli in December last year. When Sonam was asked about her wedding rumours at the trailer launch of Veere Di Wedding, the actress had neither confirmed not denied the rumours but said that everyone will get to know things but all in good time. 

Recently, when Anil Kapoor's residence was all decked up with colourful lights, the actor was quizzed about the same at an event and he had also maintained that very soon everyone will get to know the reason why his house has been decked up. Guess we all knew it already, but now that it has come from the family, there's no scope for any doubt left. We're glad that the families have finally made it official!

Reports about the wedding prep to have begun, have already been doing the rounds for quite sometime now. While Farah Khan is reported to choreography the Sangeet function, Sonam's girl gang is said to be super excited for her nuptial ceremonies. 

Sonam and Anand's families have apparently, decided to send across e-invitations for the wedding. A report on BollywoodLife quoted a source as saying, "Both Sonam and Anand believe in paper conservation. They believe that wedding cards mean a lot of waste of paper. Hence they have asked their families to not print any invitation cards. Instead, they have designed an elegant e-invite together which will be sent to their friends and relatives on their phones.”
