Some special movies for children on this Children's Day

India celebrates Children's day on 14th November every year. The day is recognised to celebrate children. It is a tribute to Jawaharlal Nehru, who was born on November 14, 1889. Jawaharlal Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was known for his love for children. On this day of Children's day,  let us see some Bollywood movies on children's day.


1. Taare Zameen Par (2007)

The film brought tears to the eyes. The film represents a dyslexic child Ishaan who overcomes all obstacles. Aamir Khan who plays a pivotal role in the movie is also the director of it. He teaches Ishaan's parents not to distinguish him from others and hence not to segregate against him.

2. Mr India (1987)

Anil Kapoor and Sridevi stole hearts for their superb performance in the movie. The kids added so much innocence and fun. Amrish Puri as Mogambo added a spark.


3. Koi Mil Gaya (2003)

Rakesh Roshan's Koi Mil Gaya made everyone emotional with this movie. Hrithik Roshan, the protagonist of the film, was fantastically played his role of a developmentally disabled young man who communicates with an extra-terrestrials from outer space, which leads to something marvellous and incredible. In conclusion, Hrithik along with his friends helps the alien to send him back to his world.

4. Stanley Ka Dabba (2011)

Amole Gupte's Stanley Ka Dabba is about a 4th-grade student named  Partho Gupte who is forced to bring tiffin by his Hindi teacher. The movie shows how he spends his time in school amidst all the difficulties.


5. Masoom (1983)

Shekhar Kapur's Masoom is genuinely a terrific film. The triangle between Naseeruddin Shah, Shabana Azmi and Anuradha gave goosebumps to the audience. Jugal Hansraj, Aradhana and Urmila Matondkar as child actors were a treat to watch.
