Established in 1929, the biscuits are one of the largest selling in the world. Be it the quality or the price it comes at, Parle G hasn’t disappointed anyone. But questions about the little girl on the packet keeps arising time and again.
A user on Quora too had the same question and soon the answers started pouring in. Many claimed that the child was Sudha Murthy. Some spoke about Gunjan Gundaniya but the most popular name that arose was that of Neeru Deshpande.
According to a user, Neeru was 4 when her father clicked this picture and it caught the attention of the makers of Parle G who decided to put it on their packaging.

But the product manager of Parle G, Mayank Shah, cleared the air. The girl doesn’t exist in real life. It is an illustration made by Everest Creatives back in the 60s. People have assigned names to the girl and built a story around it!
Now we know who this mysterious kid is!
